Overview
Many individuals within the community have a profound interest in art and music. Unfortunately some cannot develop their talents because of either financial hardships, medical challenges and/or access to facilities. The "ART IN THE PARK" project will reach these individuals.
Foundation artists and photographers will provide an opportunity for individuals, to explore their hidden talents, experiencing the arts "HANDS ON".
Classes will run June-September in local parks (some with shelters), for 4 age groups (5-8 years, 9-12 years, 13-16 years, 17- adult).
Materials will be provided with the exception of digital cameras.
Approximately 300 students, will showcase works to the St. Albert population of 62,500 plus visitors. The showcase will supplement the 150th celebration of the founding of St. Albert, Alberta.
