OPEN AN AWESOME CENTRE FOR CHILDREN DIAGNOSED WITH AUTISMAutism Behavioural Services Inc

ABS Inc plans to open a centre in North Wellington County located in Ontario. There is a huge need for families and children in this area. The goal is to make the lives of these families a little easier by bringing services closer so they can be more easily accessed and the children can recieve the help they need and rightfully deserve. The project will help over 50 families, we will provide 1 on 1 IBI (Intensive Behaviour Intervention) services, social skills and life skills groups and parent training courses.We are looking at securing a safe and clean facility, and having staff work from a office in the North. There will be community awareness and school support from our agency as well. We hold an annual fundraiser to help meet the financial needs of the potential centre, but all new materials and supplies such as computers, special communication devices and office materials will need to be purchased as well as driving costs covered for the therapists.
