- To create a green space for every school
Overview
The Green Space project will provide, at every school in our district, a environmentally friendly space. This space, which will include numerous types of natural, indigenous vegetation will have many uses. Firstly, the creation will work as a tool to bring together schools and communities. Secondly, the space will provide an area for students in which they can enjoy the natural world. Lastly, and most importantly, the area will foster growth and knowledge for the students. It can be used to teach about the natural world, habitiats, ecology and sustainability.
Community Benefit
The benefit of the project is that all members of the community can be involved in team building. As well it will teach future generation to respect and foster the natural environments around them.
How will the $25K be used? |

| Budget Notes: Our budget is not going to cover the labour to create the spaces. It will be left to the schools/communities to create volunteer groups to design and build the spaces. | |
