Overview
In Quebec, a single person earning more than $12,844 a year or a family with an annual household income over $20,598 does not have access to free legal aid. Juripop offers free legal services to citizens who cannot afford to defend their rights and do not have access to legal aid offered by the government. Specifically, we provide legal information seminars designed to inform citizens in schools, organizations and businesses, and we hold a pleading contest for high school students. The clinic opened its doors last November and is still in the early stages of its development. Several volunteers and employees are working hard to improve justice in Quebec.
