Overview
The present project combines the benefits of art and design to a healthy and creative space for children. I wish to offer to underprivileged children, through interior design, a safe place where they can have fun, such as a customized bedroom and a playroom adapted to recent physical changes or to a disability. In short, a space dedicated to their happiness and imagination. I would like people to share their stories and tell me what they need in order to determine the different needs of the population (hospitals, youth centres, schools). Colour has an effect on emotions, development and the health of young children and adults. This is why it is now time to put colour in the hearts of our children.
Community Benefit
My project will allow children with reduced mobility or who are unable to fully enjoy their home or a special living space to live and play safely and in a healthy fashion with their parents and family. For example, air quality, reduced mobility, adapted hygiene services, etc.; all in a specially designed environment that reflect their imagination. They will be able to live at home and get better, all in the comfort of their own home and not in the hospital. They will be able to go home earlier. Orphaned children or abused teenagers can have a space where they can feel safe, where they will feel at home. Through design and creativity, my goal is to allow underprivileged children to benefit from my passion and dedication. I want to see them smile, shed a tear of joy, of hope, of comfort.
