Overview
Project Summary: "If we’re going to change the world, we’ve got to start in our own communities. Changing attitudes. Changing priorities. Changing the way we think about our world." The "Run Around the Globe" hopes to raise $20,000 towards Free the Children's local school programs intended to educate, inspire, and empower young students all over Canada. As members of Youth in Action, we understand that in order to change the world into a more positive place, we need to start small so we want to help support programs that will allow other students like us, become motivated active citizens. The Run will be open to everyone that is willing to participate in this cause and will take place sometime in the Spring.
