Overview
Zajac Ranch is a camp for children with serious and chronic illnesses and disabilities. Located in Mission, BC, Zajac Ranch held its first summer camp in 2004.
Zajac Ranch is dedicated to helping youth with disabilities through innovative community projects, focusing on developing life-long skills and independence. At Zajac Ranch not only do we raise spirits, we transform lives!
Every summer, Zajac Ranch welcomes almost 500 campers, aged 7-17, with a wide variety of medical diagnoses.
The primary objectives of Zajac Ranch are to provide youth with memorable summer camp experiences and to help improve the lives of campers through innovative social and recreational programs. Our camp programs both raise the spirits of these children while at the same time help to build esteem, confidence, independence and social and physical skills.
Our vision is that one day, any special needs child in BC will be able to attend camp at Zajac Ranch free of charge.
