  • Amber MacArthur

    CANADIAN TELEVISION & NETCASTING PERSONALITY

“The Pepsi Refresh Project is a perfect example of how social media can make the world a better place. I am thrilled to be involved with this initiative.”

The world of new media changes at lightning speed, and Amber MacArthur has managed to stay ahead of the trends. A recognizable personality from new media ventures in Canada — including CP24’s Webnation, a program dedicated to reporting on internet culture — Amber has repeatedly redefined the role of a journalist and merged traditional and social forms of media together seamlessly. Amber’s leadership, not only as a journalist, but also as a consultant, speaker, and author makes her an ideal fit for the social media-driven Pepsi Refresh Project.

  • Raymond Ko

    FOUNDER, MUSIC SENSORY AWAKENING PROGRAM

“I am so thrilled to be a part of the PRP. It is truly a one of a kind initiative from which Canadians from across the country can be proud of. The PRP has the unique ability to unite and motivate many people by giving back to the community.”

Raymond Ko is the youngest member of the Advisory Board, but you wouldn’t know it from his accomplishments. As a musician with experience teaching underprivileged children, Raymond was inspired to use his talents to make a difference. He launched the Music Sensory Awakening Program for Autistic children. Raymond was recently named one of Canada’s Top 20 Under 20 by Youth in Motion, and already has plans to expand his music program nationally. The Pepsi Refresh Project is inspired by Raymond’s musical talent and his passion for social engagement.

  • Joey Adler

    CEO, ONEXONE PRESIDENT, DIESEL CANADA

“The Pepsi Refresh Project is symbolic of Pepsi’s commitment to corporate social responsibility. I am honored to have been asked to take part.”

Joey Adler is driven in life by a desire to help others. This drive led Joey to form the charitable foundation ONEXONE in 2004. She has elevated it to one of Canada’s most successful not-for-profit organizations. In addition to dedicating up to 40 hours weekly to her charity, Joey has created the Adler/Sheiner patient support program at the Jewish General Hospital and founded Lou’s House – a cancer support home in Montreal. Joey’s affinity for helping others is an invaluable asset to the Pepsi Refresh Project.

AUTHOR, HOW TO CHANGE THE WORLD FOR 10 BUCKS

“I am very proud and excited to be on the Advisory Board for the Pepsi Refresh project. It’s a wonderfully innovative grassroots community giving project that gives everyone the chance to change the world.”

Paul Edney believes that each one of us has the power to change the world. In 2006 Paul co-wrote the book Change the World for 10 Bucks and launched the not-for-profit movement Inspire Community (formerly We Are What We Do) to drive this small actions, BIG impact philosophy. The book went on to sell 35,000 copies. Then in 2009, Paul started Inspire Enterprise with the goal of empowering people to change the world at work. The Pepsi Refresh Project looks forward to Paul’s ideas on change.
